I only have two words to describe this apple cucumber smoothie delicious and prefect. This is coming from someone who HATES cucumbers…i just can not stand them. I was abit hesitant to try out this recipe but I made a few twicks so that my cucumber issue does not crop up. So, if you are anything like me or even if you love cucumbers, I am sure you will love this simple and easy to make cucumber and apple smoothie.

    Since this is one of the recipes I make for breakfast, I don’t want anything that is going to keep me for long in the kitchen and especially in the morning. So that’s why this is one of my go to recipes because you only need a few ingredients and its so fast to make.     For this apple and cucumber smoothie you will need:

    • Apples – I mean, hello this is an apple cucumber smoothie so make sure to use ripe green apples or even red apples for this smoothie.
    • Cucumber – I just bought cucumber at my local grocery store. I am not really the biggest fan of cucumbers do I just picked out whatever I could find. Just buy enough because some of the cucumbers I bought overstayed and I was not sure if I could use them again. This post on How to tell if Cucumber is Bad helped me alot.
    • Mango– I used mangoes for this recipe to dissolve the cucumber taste. I used frozen ones to make the smoothie creamy and thick.
    • Spinach – Any kind of spinach will do for this recipe
    • Milk – I used regular milk for this recipe
    • Ginger – I used a very small amount of ginger

    📖 Variations

    Leave out the ginger. This is an optional ingredient, so leave you do not have to use it.

    Use any kind of milk you want for this.

    Gather all your ingredients. Chop up and de-core the apples, together with the cucumber and add all your ingredients into the blender.
